JOB SUMMARY:               

Qualified individual for the Marketing Coordinator position directly assists the Director of Marketing and Advertising with the coordination of marketing and promotion efforts. Supervises Welcome Center, PBX and Concierge Staff and manages day-to-day operations. Provides administrative support to the department by performing the following duties. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directly supervises staff of at least 10 employees in the Welcome Center, PBX and Concierge area. Supervision includes but is not limited to making hiring and termination recommendations as well as performance appraisals and discipline while adhering to all company casino established policy.
  • Oversees day to day operations of all assigned areas including providing staff with current and accurate information on promotions, tournaments, hotel information or other events.
  • Assembles reports by compiling, consolidating, formatting, and summarizing, information, graphs and presentations.
  • Keeps updated competitor information and generates monthly reports by visiting website, social media pages, and compiling, consolidating, summarizing information and distribution reports.
  • Works closely with the Marketing and Advertising Director in order to coordinate special events and setting existing and or upcoming promotional events with marketing agencies.
  • Responsible for dissemination of promotional information in a timely manner.
  • Proofs and provides copy for operations and marketing material including but not limited to mailers, website, social media, pages, gaming brochures, promotions, tournament information and employee related literature.
  • Maintains all department files, including print orders, invoices, requisitions, vendor listings, and purchase orders.
  • Maintains current material and media files, including magazines, newspapers, media kits, vendor packets, photos and scrapbooks.
  • Assists the Marketing and Advertising Director with the overall administration of the department.
  • Creates monthly profit and loss report for each promotional event by obtaining information for all pertaining departments.
  • Processes outgoing material and maintains appropriate copies for department files, including UPS, FAX, Federal Express, photo and messenger services.
  • Responsible for bidding out, purchasing, expediting, and follow up on jobs to delivery input.
  • Conducts group and individual training sessions in customer service and hospitality.
  • Provides customers with information on all promotions, events and tournaments.
  • Develops and updates out of town visitor packages per phone and requests.
  • Assist tournament staff on a weekly basis with tournament signage.
  • Provides leadership and serves as a positive role model to staff.
  • Must be able to work any shift including weekends and holidays.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Associates or Bachelor's Degree in related field and/or one to two years related experience in hospitality industry; or e equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Must be 21 years of age.
